Our four cottages are in Llangaron a picturesque village and ideally situated in the Wye-Valley, close to the Forest of Dean and between the two historic market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. We are also convenient for Hereford with the famous Mappa Mundi housed in its Cathedral, or Abergavenny, the gateway to South Wales and the Brecon Beacons.
Wagoners Cottage
A one storey, two bedroomed, very popular holiday cottage converted from an old farm wagon shed. It has exposed beams and a charm of its own views of open countryside, a patio area with barbeque plus large lawn at the back, all enclosed.
Barn House and Owls Nest
Two very comfortable cottage each with three bedrooms. They have modern kitchens and new bathrooms, sitting and dining rooms in each. New carpets throughout in January 2010. Plus the added convenience of an extra toilet downstairs.
Each self-catering cottage sleeps from 2-6 persons and has its own private enclosed garden, garden furniture, barbeques and views of open countryside. Each cottage is popular with both couples and families.
The Granary
A recent barn conversion sleeping from 6-12. With original oak beams, an oak floor boarded lounge and a large farmhouse kitchen with a rustic slated floor and a table to seat up to12 persons. It has three very spacious bedrooms and three large bathrooms. It can be rented on its own or at certain times of year together with one, two or three of our other cottages, therefore suitable for a large family group.
A variety of tourist/local information, Angela's suggested day trips, directions to local supermarkets and tourist information centers are on hand in each property, plus a complimentary bottle of locally produced JUS apple juice if staying for a week or more.
